Change Your Username (email address)

This page will allow you to change your TAM User Name, which is your Email Address.
If you have changed your email address and would like to use your new address as your TAM user name, this page can help you do that.

STEPS

  1. Your current email address is in the first box, labeled "Existing User ID (Email)." This has already been filled in for you based on the account you logged in with. You can only change your own user name, you cannot change the user name for anyone else.
  2. Enter your new email address in the box labeled "NEW EMAIL Address." Check spelling carefully, because the system will be sending an email to this address.
  3. Click the "CHANGE Email Address" button
  4. You will be redirected to the TAM login page.
  5. Check your email mailbox for an email from TAM. If the email doesn't appear in a reasonable length of time, you can restart the process to send a new email. Nothing changes about your account until you click the link in the email.
  6. When the email arrives, you'll see a link labeled "Here". Click it.
  7. When you click the "Here" link in the email, your browser should open to another TAM page where the address change takes place. In this form you'll see three text boxes where you can make other changes:
    1. First Name: If your email change also involves a change to your first name, you can enter that in this box. If no change is needed, leave the textbox undisturbed.
    2. Last Name: If your email change involves a change to your Last Name, you can enter the change in this box. If no change is needed, leave the textbox undisturbed.
    3. Telephone: If you'd like to enter or update a phone number associated with the account, it goes here.
  8. When you have made the necessary changes, click the "Submit" button. You'll be redirected to the TAM login page.
  9. You should be able to log in with your existing password. We recommend that you change your password occasionally to ensure security.
  10. As part of the process, references to your TAM email UserName in reports you've worked on will be updated to the new username you enter here. (NOT YET IMPLEMENTED—COMING SOON!)
